Lafarge Corporate Master Plan; Fredonia Kansas Plan
Large limestone mining operation with 100's of acres of natural area and many environmental pollution issues. Plans included introduction of massive areas of native grass and wildflower plantings, frontage beautification for site recognition and aesthetics, irrigation system that uses on-site retention water for drip irrigation, 1/4 mile walking trail with fitness stations and disc golf for staff that winds through native and indigenous tree plantings, staff courtyard with tables and chairs and a new parking lot with trees for shade.
